TPAC’s website is constantly being updated with new and archival materials. Today we are pleased to announce a recently added tribute to Singaporean artist Lee Wen (1957-2019) written by TPAC collective member Paul Couillard. Lee Wen appeared in the 2006 7a*11d International Festival of Performance Art; his work Almost Untitled: End of the World Stories was the inspiration for Sean Lee’s 2024 7a*mgr8 project, Almost audio described. Paul was inspired to write this text after staying in a guest house run by Satoko Lee, the widow of Lee Wen, during TPAC’s Japan tour in the summer of 2026.
