Eric Aurandt and Hal Niedzviecki use film, soundtrack and performed voice-over narration to explore the urban meta-territory of the underground shopping space. The film and narration work together to explicate the personal within this impersonal ‘transitional’ space. The grotesque of the visual will be endowed through the narrative with loving perplexity. This work seeks to address the actuality of the literally ‘sub’- urban mental space through the contortions of the exterior.
