MURATA Mineki

Mineki Murata was born in Gunma Prefecture in 1979 and lives in Maebashi City. He graduated from the Department of Sculpture, Faculty of Fine Arts, Tama University in 2005. He crates drawings and performs by understanding the four elements at the origin of the word “draw” as a primitive act: consciousness = writing, result = drawing, action = scratching, and potential = lack. Solo exhibitions include Out-of-Body (rin art association, 2024), Transition (Maebashi Galleria Gallery 2, 2023), share (Tama Art University Sculpture Building Gallery, 2023), effect (rin art association, 2021), Borderman (Art Center Ongoing, 2019). Group exhibitions include Void stock: Koji Tanada, Jun Honma, Midori Mitamura, Mineki Murata (void+, 2024), New Horizon Vision of the Future (ArtsMaebashi, 2023), Platform II Pause – rest + restore (BankART KAIKO2023), Uninhabited Island – War and the Body (zid dam art space, 2023), N/World (Mtk Contemporary Art, 2022). Performance events include since then | from now (Theater Kinematica, 2023), 2019 LIVE International Performance Art Biennale in Vancouver (2019), and Genjin Tausou Kubikukuri, Fuyuki Yamakawa, Mineki Murata (Maebashi City Arts and Culture Rengaura, 2016).

村田峰紀は、1979年群馬県生まれ前橋市在住。2005年多摩美術大学美術学部彫刻学科卒業。原初的な行為で ” かく ” ことの語源にある4つの要素を 意識=書く、結果=描く、行為=掻く、潜在=欠く、と捉えてドローイング制作やパフォーマンスをおこなっている。Ongoing Collective、身体の人たちに在籍し活動。主な個展にOut-Of-Body (rin art association 2024)、Transition (まえばしガレリアギャラリー22023)、share(多摩美術大学彫刻棟ギャラリー2023)、effect(rin artassociation 2021)、ボーダーマン (Art Center Ongoing 2019)など。主なグループ展に、Void stock 棚田康司、本間純、三田村光土里、村田峰紀　(void+ 2024)、New Horizon Vision of the Future(アーツ前橋2023)など。主なパフォーマンスイベントに、2019LIVEinternational performance art Biennale in Vancouver (gldnd floor2019) 、間人　首くくり象、山川冬樹、村田峰紀　(前橋市芸術文化レンガ蔵 2016)がある。
