SAFMOD (SubAtomic Frequency Modulation OverDose) is a presentation of collaborations between artists of diverse creative mediums dedicated to the pursuit of experimentation and new processes of creativity. SAFMOD was founded in Ann Arbor, MI in 1991 by Neil Chastain and Young Park. The now Cleveland-based SAFMOD also includes Andrew Kaletta and Alexandra Underhill. SAFMOD performed in the Cleveland Performance Art Festival ’95 and ’97, as well as the Starwood Festival at Brushwood Cultural Center. SAFMOD has presented evening length performance works at Cleveland Public Theatre, the Pieta, and Speak in Tongues (Cleveland).
