me and me

Since making their debut and kissing the crowd to capture the crown at the 7a*11d International Festival of Performance Art fundraising Beautiganza on May 24, me and me (separately known as Shannon Cochrane and Keith Manship) can be observed traveling the thoroughfares of Toronto, practicing the subtlety of the common gesture. Through employing the science of fashion genetics and the metaphor of mimicry, me and me are responsible for single-handedly reviving the lost art of the double-take. At this year’s 7a*11d, me and me will walk through a work entitled follow me, which combines the childhood joy of a field trip, the exhilaration of a summer shoe sale and the absurdity of tag team clerking.
