Kaya Hanasaki was born in Tokyo. She completed her MFA in Intermedia Art at Tokyo University of the Arts (2012). Kaya is a contemporary artist whose practice centres on performance art and spans across diverse media. Selected Solo Exhibitions: New Units (Tokyo, 2025), My Home, Our Treasure (Taipei, 2016), Performances: Breathing-with, In-Between Seeds (Taichung, 2026), Selected Group Exhibitions: Flowers for urban maladies (Tokyo, 2022), Projects: Rest in plaza (Taichung, 2016).

花崎草（はなさきかや）:  東京生まれ。東京藝術大学先端芸術表現専攻修士課程修了（2012年）。パフォーマンス・アートを中心に、メディア横断的に活動する現代美術家。主な個展に「あたらしいたんい」（2025・東京）、「My Home, Our Treasure」（2016・台北）、パフォーマンスに「Breathing-with ─ あわいの種」（2026・台中）、グループ展に「Flowers for urban maladies」（2022・東京）、プロジェクトに「Rest in plaza」（2016・台中）などがある。
