Russell Louder is a white, trans, interdisciplinary artist based in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, traditional and unceded territory of the Abegweit Mi’kmaq First Nation. An autodidact, their performance work is informed by a pursuit of self-directed education. Using mechanisms of drag, music, and installation, realms of celebration, eros and identity are critically explored.
